Lord Elgin Hotel

The Lord Elgin is a distinctively independent, luxury hotel in the classic tradition and is different from most of Ottawa’s other luxury hotels. For one thing it is not part of a group, and we manage and run the hotel ourselves – which means that we’re personally involved in every aspect of its operation.
With 355 rooms and suites, it’s neither too small nor too large: it is certainly not a ’boutique’ hotel, but while it is, we hope, in the best tradition of grand hotels, it certainly does not stand on ceremony or cultivate airs and graces. Discreet, with a wonderful location and old-fashioned standards of service, The Lord Elgin is, above all, all about attention to detail.
