Media Accreditation 

IMPORTANT: All media accredited to the Ottawa International Animation Festival must provide links or copies of coverage in order to be considered for accreditation in 2022.

Returning Media

Journalists who attended the 2022 Ottawa International Animation Festival, submitted their coverage from last year and are in good standing, will be given priority accreditation to this year’s Festival.

IMPORTANT: All media accredited to the Ottawa International Animation Festival must provide links or copies of coverage in order to be considered for accreditation in 2023.

New Media Accreditation Request

The Ottawa International Animation Festival grants complimentary accreditation to established media. Accreditation is strictly personal and non-transferable. Accreditation provides access to screenings, panels, workshops and other online events.

To request a pass:

1.  Create or access your account in the OIAF Visitor Portal, hosted by Eventival.

If you’ve had an OIAF account before, you will get a message saying: “An account with this login email address already exists. If it belongs to you, use it to log in or reset your password by clicking “I forgot my password” option on the Login page.”

Once you have reset your password and logged in, you will find some of your contact information is there waiting for you. If you are making a new account, you will be asked to verify your email address (check your spam folder).

2.  Fill out or update the Personal Information form.

Please make sure to fill out all fields marked with an asterisk (*). The information here is private with the exception of your name and your profile picture. Opt-in to add additional information which will be featured on our networking platform.

3.   Fill out or update the Contact Information. This information is for OIAF use only. Add a new contact to attach yourself to a company.

4.  Request your media pass (Accreditation)

Once you have set up your account, you will be able to access the OIAF Visitor Portal hosted on Eventival. Click on the Accreditation menu item, select Media Pass and complete your order. Once your pass is approved  you will get an email with a few more instructions.
