OIAF Tickets and Ticket Six-Packs

If you’d like to attend a few OIAF screenings or talks, you can purchase individual tickets or a Ticket Six-Pack.

Individual Tickets: $15 CAD (or less with a CFI membership). Tickets are available online or at the venue box office, which opens 30 minutes before each screening or talk.  Explore the Screenings and Talks page then click on the ticket link for any events you want to go to.  Tickets for All Ages Day are free for kids under 12 or anyone with a Pique pass.  Tickets are always free for anyone with a valid OIAF pass.

Please note: the CFI membership discounts cannot be used for talks at the National Arts Centre during Animation Exposé.

Passholders

Do not need to pre-order tickets; your pass will be scanned at the door like a ticket.

You may still order free tickets online to help plan your schedule. To do so, choose “Continue with Eventival” at checkout so tickets link to your pass.

Please note: Passholder reservations are not available for Artist Talks at the NAC during Animation Exposé; bring your pass and scan it at the door for access.

Important Notes

Tickets are not available for TAC events, parties, the Animators’ Picnic, or the Awards Ceremony.

Standalone tickets for Pique can be purchased separately. All passholders with a valid Saturday night pass receive free entry to Pique.

All Ages Day on Saturday, September 27 is FREE for kids under 12 and anyone with a Pique Ticket.  Teens can get a special Saturday pass for free.

How to Order an OIAF Pass

Step One

Create or access your account using the OIAF Visitor Portal, hosted by Eventival.

Once your account is set up, you can access the portal year-round to buy passes and access passholder exclusive content.

If you are making a new account, you will be asked to verify your email address
(check your spam folder).

You may get a message:

“An account with this login email address already exists.”

If this happens to you, hit ‘Reset my password’ and wait for the password reset email. (Check your spam filter.)

Once you have reset your password and logged in, you will find some of your contact information is there waiting for you from the old OIAF database.

Don’t forget your OIAF Visitor Portal (Eventival) login. You’ll need it to access all sorts of OIAF resources and information during the Festival and year-round.

Step Two

Fill out or update the ‘Personal Information’ form. Please make sure to fill out all fields marked with an asterisk (*). The information here is private except for TAC passholders who opt-in to be listed in Who Is Here.

Step Three

Fill out or update the ‘Contact Information’. This information is for OIAF use only. Add a new contact to attach yourself to a company.

Step Four

Buying your Pass (Accreditation)

Once you have set up your account, you will be able to access the OIAF Visitor Portal hosted on Eventival.

Click on the ‘Accreditation’ menu item, select your pass, and complete your order. Once your pass is processed, you will get an email with a few more instructions.

Tickets for Passholders

Passholders do not need to pre-order tickets. Passes are scanned at the door, like tickets. However, passholders can ensure themselves a seat by pre-ordering tickets with their pass. Passholders must use the ‘Continue with Eventival’ login option when checking out a ticket order to get their free ticket attached to their pass.

If you have an AnimaPass, Student AnimaPass, Weekend Pass, or Day Pass, you can pick up your pass at OIAF Registration in the Arts Court Studio (Level 3) during the following times:

For Arts Court pass pick-up:
Head to 2 Daly Ave and take Elevator B to Level 3.

For National Arts Centre (NAC) pass pick-up:
Head to the Canal Level and look for the signage

Policies:

Code of Conduct: All attendees must abide by the OIAF’s Code of Conduct Policies. Failure to read or understand this document does not exclude anyone from the consequences of violating these policies.

Prices and Payments: All prices listed are in CAD and include HST. All major credit cards are accepted for online orders. Credit, debit, and cash are accepted for in-person orders.

Refunds: OIAF passes are fully refundable minus $10 to cover credit card fees. TAC passes are fully refundable up to September 10th and 50% refundable after that.  Contact Registration for assistance.
