About Bruce Alcock
Bruce Alcock has worked as a director and creative director for over three decades. His award-winning films, television series, and hundreds of international commercials have earned him accolades worldwide. In 1991, Alcock started Cuppa Coffee, his first production company, in Toronto. After five successful years, he moved to Chicago to set up Tricky Pictures. In 2000, he came back to Canada, moved to Vancouver and founded boutique production company, Global Mechanic Media, where he is currently the Creative Director. His entrepreneurial focus has always been on simultaneous commercial and artistic streams of production, combining professional rigour and creative abandon to make truly original work.
