Are you ready to hone your skills as a budding animator? Do you need more information on how to make that scary first step? Or, are you looking for a career in animation and want to connect directly with right people in the industry? If so, pack up your portfolio and come meet with the various School and Industry representatives at our Career Fair from 9am to 5pm at the National Arts Centre. It is all happening as a part of our Animation Exposé!

Students and teens can get more involved with the festival by volunteering. Completing volunteer hours can finish up a school credit, and provide valuable professional experience. Plus, volunteers who work two full shifts for the OIAF get free access to screenings and workshops at this year's Festival. Spaces are limited, so sign up soon.

This OIAF is once again offering the unique opportunity to high school students to volunteer their school's representative for the 2019 Ottawa International Animation Festival. As our Animation Ambassador, they will help to get other students in their school involved in volunteering and help build the excitement leading up to the event by helping us promote it at their high school. The Animation Ambassador will receive a free pass to all OIAF events.

Volunteer positions are available throughout the summer, as well as on-site in September.
