The Ottawa International Animation Festival grants complimentary accreditation to journalists of established media. Accreditation is strictly personal and non-transferable. Accreditation provides access to screenings, panels, workshops, opening night and closing night ceremonies. You will be required to provide:
- This Media Accreditation Request form completed in full;
- A letter on company letterhead from your assigning editor confirming your assignment(s) and outline the company’s intention to publish or air your reports; and
- Sample clips (or tapes, links, summaries, etc.) of your coverage, with by-lines and dates, if you were accredited last year. DO NOT assume that we have these on file. If you are new to the OIAF, include three sample stories or comparable coverage published during the last twelve months.
Journalists who attended the 2015 Ottawa International Animation Festival, submitted their coverage from last year and are in good standing, will be given priority accreditation to this year’s Festival.
All media accredited to the Ottawa International Animation Festival must provide clips, tear sheets, copies and/or a list of coverage in order to be considered for accreditation in 2016.
