Métropolitain is a Parisian style brasserie, located on the bustling corner of Sussex and Rideau. Start the festival off right with a drink, delicious canapés, and some mingling with festival artists, industry reps and animation buffs. Métropolitain offers something for everyone.

Picnic eats & drinks galore! Strathcona Park offers some of the best green space in the city, so rain or shine, come relax in the park under the big tent for  this annual festival tradition. Picnic buses will leave the Bytowne Theatre at 11:30am, and after that will pick-up from the Arts Court building starting at 12:15. It’s a 20 min walk to the park from the Arts Court if you want some exercise. Highlights: Show your mad creative skills in the annual pumpkin carving throw-down!  Though heaters and an outdoor fireplace will be provided, come dressed for crisp autumn weather (a light jacket or sweater, thin scarf and/or gloves should do the trick).

The big Saturday Night Party moves to the market in style… Club style! Ascend the grand staircase and enter the luxury that is Parliament Ultra Club. Be sure to impress all your new contacts with your moves on the dance floor. Or spend your time on the sidelines, snuggled in the couches or perched at a cocktail table in the balcony. It’s up to you! Don’t hesitate in making your way over to the club - 151 George St - ASAP. Foundation’s closing party will provide a sophisticated end to a rockin’ week. Lounge, chat, dance a little to the guest DJ and enjoy tasty bites and potent drinks; a super send-off for the 2009 Festival. Until next year…
