Not for the Faint-of-Heart: Financing Animation Production in a Multi-Jurisdictional Environment
In a world where broadcast license fees are declining and competition for all types of funding is intense, animation producers must look to more and more complex financing models that frequently cross many jurisdictions, both domestically and internationally. Interprovincial and international co-productions and a wide array of territorially-based licenses, advances, equity investments, incentive-programs, and debt arrangements criss-cross with each other against a tapestry of regulatory minefields. This seminar will present an overview of several financing options and the interplay among them. An opportunity for questions and discussion will be provided.

Frank Taylor, President, Title Entertainment Inc.
