Setting Up a Production Pipeline: Alternative Tools and Techniques
9:00 am to 10:30 am

This panel will present some of the tools available to the artists and studios which can be utilized in various pipeline approaches. We will cover off-the-shelf packages such as Zbrush and Maya, and various OpenSource packages such as Liquid and Pixie, as well as techniques on how to use these software packages to drastically improve productivity. The discussion and presentation is not limited to these tools, as the focus will be how various tools can be used for both small-scale and large-scale production pipelines. This is not a sales pitch for any product, but rather a compilation of tools and techniques used by various industry leaders to do day-to-day work.
