Chez Ani

Presented by: Guru Animation Studio
September 21 - September 25, 11:00 pm

This is the official festival-run networking nightclub. It offers participants the chance to meet fellow festival attendees, watch even more animation (sometimes making animation too) in an informal open setting. By popular demand this year's Chez-Ani will again be located in the Arts Court, at Club Saw. Chez-Ani will be open from 11:00 pm running as always into the wee hours.

On the afternoon of Friday, September 23rd, festival pass holders board buses at the National Arts Centre and head to the Canada & the World Pavilion. Sponsored by: Cuppa Coffee Animation
Wednesday, September 21, 11:00 pm

Come celebrate the Opening Night of the Festival at Suite 34, located at 34 Clarence St., in the heart of Ottawa’s Market place. Suite 34 is an open concept bar/lounge with a secluded 2nd floor, and a “private bar” offering more of a removed space for quiet conversation. You can also relax on Ottawa’s only rooftop patio, overlooking the Byward Market, again with the convenience of a full service bar.

Barrymores Blowout

Sponsored by: Boomstone Entertainment
Saturday, September 24, 11:00 pm

The OIAF and Boomstone present the Festival Saturday Night Blow Out at Ottawa’s legendary live venue, Barrymores Music Hall, 323 Bank Street. Barrymores was built as a vaudeville theatre in 1914. Over the years, Barrymores has come to be recognized as one of the most sought after venues in Canada. In 1997, it was voted Club Venue of the Year by Canada's music industry weekly publication, The Record. Most of the original decor is still intact, adding to the mystery and "old haunted theatre" appeal of the space.
