Kim Wilson is the Deputy Creative Head of Children's and Youth Programming at the CBC. In her role, Kim oversees the productions and processes associated with all in-house programs including the # 1 rated preschool block, Kids’ CBC, the afterschool flagship program, The X, as well as working on programs with independents. Her portfolio also has her spearheading business initiatives and managing all Children’s and Youth Outreach activities across Canada. Kim started at the CBC as an Executive Producer, and led the successful development and production of CBC's three key, integrated after-school television and web programs: InfomatriX, SPYnet and POV Sports on CBC. Prior to the CBC, Kim worked for 12 years at TVOntario as a Producer and Executive Producer. Her last four years at TVO were as Executive Producer of Children's and Youth Programming including the acclaimed TVO Kids hosted programming blocks and award winning website.
