As TFO's manager of Co-production and Acquisitions, Children and Youth programming, Annick Snell works closely with distributors and independent producers to acquire and develop programmes that reflect TFO's educational mission and contribute to Franco-Ontarian culture. Her teaching background, combined with her well-rounded production experience since joining TFO in 1987 helps Annick focus the power of television as an educational medium.

TFO, TVOntario's-French language educational and cultural broadcaster, was launched as an individual network in 1987. It is the only Canadian francophone television broadcaster originating outside Québec and provides a Franco-Ontarian view for the francophones and francophiles of the province. TFO airs children's TV programming eight hours a day. Its Web site ( features fun, interactive games for the whole family as well as educational resources for students, parents and teachers. With direct teacher liaison to the province's francophone school system, TFO provides a valuable set of educational resources.
