Song Nay Hay is the Director of the School of Info-Communications Technology, Singapore Polytechnic. Mr. Hay has more than 24 years of experience in polytechnic education, as well as in manpower planning from his time with the Economic Development Board (EDB). Singapore Polytechnic, founded in 1954, is the first polytechnic in Singapore. It has built up a tradition of technological training, one that keeps abreast of the changing needs of industry. On offer is a total of 34 full-time and part-time diploma courses, 25 post-diploma courses and advance diploma courses. The School of Info-Communications Technology offers such programs as Diploma in Multimedia Technology, Diploma in Music and Audio Technology, Diploma in Business Information Technology and Diploma inInformation Technology. The Polytechnic strategically stands in Dover Road - the educational belt and science hub in the western part of Singapore. The more than 100,000 graduates of the Polytechnic have contributed significantly to Singapore’s economy and industrial growth.
